Seeking Litigation Associate to join successful litigation practice focusing on business and commercial litigation in both Circuit and District court matters.
Our firm offers a full spectrum of legal service various practices areas, including, real estate, general business and corporation law, financial services, estate planning and trust administration, civil and complex litigation, construction law, alternative dispute resolution including mediation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, commercial collection matters, landlord tenant disputes and complex commercial matters. This role provides an opportunity to work on cases, interact with clients, and contribute to the success of a respected practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of litigation, including pre-litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and settlement negotiation.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on risk management and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with senior partners and colleagues to develop case strategy and ensure the effective resolution of matters.
- Maintain productive relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Established downtown Honolulu law firm of 20+ attorneys seeks Hawaii licensed attorney with 1-5 years' experience.
Will be working with an experienced team of professionals on all phases of litigation cases.
Ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
This position is primarily on-site. However, there may be occasional day-travel to neighbor island courts, and occasional telework opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Admission to the Hawaii Bar.
- 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation
- Proven experience in managing cases, from discovery through trial and appeal.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
