Position Overview: We are seeking a Full Time Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to gain real-world litigation experience in a fast-paced environment.
As an attorney, you will work closely with other attorneys on a variety of legal matters, assisting with both pre-trial and trial preparation. This position offers excellent opportunities for hands-on legal work, exposure to litigation strategy, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various litigation issues
- Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses
- Review and analyze documents for relevance and privilege
- Prepare and organize case files, exhibits, and discovery documents for trial
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other proceedings (if applicable)
- Participate in client meetings and take notes as needed
- Qualifications:
- Strong academic record, with a focus on litigation and legal writing preferred
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
