Attorney - Private Funds, NY, NY. Assist large sponsors in relation to setting up investment funds for various strategies in United States & offshore. Reqs Juris Doctor of Master of Laws deg, or foreign equiv. Must have 3 yrs of exp working in a funds group at a multinational law firm, providing advisory legal svcs to large limited partners & asset mgrs w/ a significant presence & oper’ns in the US & Europe. Exp must incl: assisting large limited partners & asset mgrs w/ fund formation, negotiations w/ investors & general fund raising process; assisting in structuring pooling structures across multiple jurisdictions for large asset mgrs across various jurisdictions; negotiating agreements w/ investors; organizing closings; working w/ multiple counsels across jurisdictions; coord’g w/ various bus. units of the client; & supv’g Jr. team members in organizing closings.
