Description
Schneider Law Office, a small, private law firm located in Lacey, WA which contracts with local municipalities, is seeking an attorney to focus on municipal prosecution. Working under the direction of the firm’s managing attorney and the lead prosecutor, this position will be responsible for the management of a full prosecution caseload, handling matters from initial filing through jury trial and post disposition proceedings. Additional opportunities are available for civil municipal work, along with the representation of private clients on a variety of matters, depending on interest and experience.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Requires a law degree from an accredited law school. While experience in criminal law is preferred, entry-level attorneys are welcome to apply.
- Strong interest in or prior experience with criminal and/or municipal law.
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative legal team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Licenses and Other Requirements:
- Member of the Washington State Bar Association, in good standing.
- Valid Washington driver's license
