Description

Henn Lesperance PLC is a boutique civil litigation defense law firm in downtown Grand Rapids, is seeking an experienced litigation associate with 0-5 years of experience in civil litigation.   

The successful candidate will work with supervising attorneys to represent a variety of clients, including governmental entities and insurance companies. Primary responsibilities include: (i) managing litigation matters of varying sizes, including large-scale litigation; (ii) analyzing case materials to identify legal issues and potential strategies; (iii) performing legal research; (iv) drafting pleadings, legal memorandum, and reports; and (v) assisting with the preparation for depositions, case evaluations, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

Admission to the Michigan Bar (or a willingness to become licensed), excellent academic credentials, and strong communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work full-time, in person, at our office location in downtown Grand Rapids.
