Full Annual Contract: $126,000 *Partial Contracts Available

The City of Wenatchee is seeking attorneys to provide high-quality public defense services under contract. This is an independent contractor position — you’ll run your own practice, set your own schedule, and enjoy the professional autonomy of being your own boss while serving the Wenatchee community.

Compensation:
- Annual contract for max caseload: $126,000
- Independent contractor status (1099)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years criminal defense experience
- Member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA)
- Must carry and maintain professional malpractice insurance
- Provide your own office space, equipment, and administrative support
- Ability to manage caseload in compliance with Washington public defense standards
