EXPERIENCED ESTATE PLANNING ATTORNEY, PHOENIX, AZ (REMOTE HYBRID)
An experienced and dedicated estate planning attorney is needed to help clients secure their financial future and legacy. BRUDVIK LAW OFFICE, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join the thriving practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Comprehensive, personalized service is provided to clients, guiding them through the complexities of estate planning with expertise and empathy.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to identify their estate planning goals and needs.
- Draft and customize various estate planning documents, including wills, trusts (simple and complex), powers of attorney, and advanced directives.
- Provide strategic advice on wealth preservation, tax implications, and asset protection.
- Represent clients in probate court and handle estate administration, including contested wills and trust litigation.
- Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure integrated planning.
- Educate clients on retirement plans, charitable contributions, and insurance options.
- Maintain meticulous client files and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in estate and tax laws and advise clients accordingly.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership with the State Bar of Arizona and in good standing and willingness to obtain licensure in additional jurisdictions, as may be necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing estate planning and probate law.
- Strong understanding of federal and state laws and regulations related to wills, trusts, estates, and taxes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients facing sensitive and emotional situations.
- Proficiency in legal research, document drafting, and practice management software.
- Knowledge of finance, investments, and taxes is preferred.
- Experience with WealthCounsel drafting software is a plus.
