Experienced Bankruptcy Litigation Attorney

Kahane & Associates, P.A., an award-winning consumer finance litigation law firm located in Sunrise Florida, is seeking skilled Bankruptcy Attorney with 5 years experience in handling Bankruptcy matters related to foreclosures and must meet the qualifications below.

Qualifications:

•          Must have experience in plaintiffs in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy actions.
•          Independently managed a caseload, ensuring timely responses and meeting client’s expectations.
•          Represent clients at bankruptcy court hearings and mediations, both telephonic and in person.
•          Familiarity with the Bankruptcy Mediation Guidelines and communication in the DMM Portal.
•          Ability to draft and file pleadings such as Motions for relief from the automatic Stay, Proof of Claim/410 A payment history, Objections to Chapter 13 plans and related documents.
•          Experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings are highly desirable.
•          Familiarity with bankruptcy and mortgage servicing processes to maintain compliance, including foreclosure-related matters.
•          Strong legal writing and analytical skills with the ability to integrate legal analysis into clear, concise documents.
•          Exceptional verbal communication skills to effectively present cases and defend legal positions.
•          Ability to work independently, with appropriate guidance on novel issues and manage multiple priorities under deadlines.

Member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
