Description
Are you a driven and accomplished Labor & Employment attorney with 3-5 years of experience? A global client is seeking a talented legal professional to join their Seattle office. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes employment litigation and provide strategic counsel to a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in employment law, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional legal service in complex workplace matters.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support employment-related litigation, including cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination.
- Oversee all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Advise employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Draft and revise employment policies, handbooks, offer letters, severance agreements, and other workplace documents.
- Assist clients with labor relations matters, including union negotiations, grievance procedures, and collective bargaining.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex legal issues and contribute to firm thought leadership through writing, speaking, and client education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
- 3-5 years of substantive experience in labor and employment law, with a strong emphasis on litigation.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to client service.
- Experience with class actions, workplace investigations, or employment-related compliance audits is a plus.
