We’re seeking a litigation associate with mass tort or complex litigation experience to join our team. You’ll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values initiative, strategic thinking, and high-quality legal work.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in depth legal and factual research to support case development, identify viable claims, and craft novel legal theories
Prepare high quality work product including pleadings, motions, and memoranda
Handle all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
Develop and implement creative, forward-thinking legal strategies in coordination with internal teams
Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, co-counsel, courts, and internal teams throughout the litigation process
Collaborate with internal research teams to evaluate emerging case opportunities
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in Arizona or a reciprocal jurisdiction (REQUIRED)
2-8 years of experience in mass tort or complex litigation (REQUIRED)
Exceptional analytical and strong attention to detail
Proven litigation experience with the ability to manage complex matters independently in high-pressure environments
Superior legal research, writing, and drafting abilities, particularly in motions, briefs, and other substantive filings. Experience with Daubert and summary judgment briefing strongly preferred
Prior experience taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and experts strongly preferred
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and engage professionally with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
Self-motivated and steady under pressure, with the ability to maintain focus and judgment as priorities shift
