Montana General Practice Attorney – Billings, MT
WFJ is seeking a dedicated and community-oriented attorney, licensed to practice in Montana, to join our Billings office. This role is focused exclusively on serving the legal needs of Montanans through our firm's established group services legal plan.
This is a unique opportunity to provide accessible and meaningful legal support to thousands of individuals, families, and small businesses across Big Sky Country. You will be instrumental in helping clients who are often underserved by traditional legal models, making a direct impact in our local communities.
The position involves assisting Montana-based clients with their legal needs through telephonic consultations, document review, legal research, and representation across many different areas of law.
What We're Looking For:
- Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Montana.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people solve problems.
- A self-starter attitude, comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.
- Broad-based knowledge or a strong interest in general practice areas relevant to Montanans (e.g., family law, estate planning, real estate, consumer law).
- Familiarity with the Montana Code Annotated (MCA) and our state's judicial system is a significant asset.
