Description
Fitzgibbons Law Offices, P.L.C., is seeking a dedicated and skilled attorney to join our team in Casa Grande, Arizona. This role primarily involves managing a broad range of real estate matters, including drafting purchase agreements, leases, and title documents; overseeing closings; advising on zoning, land use, and permitting; and representing clients in planning and zoning hearings. We are a growing firm, so there may be opportunities to assist or work in several other practice areas as well.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing purchase agreements, leases, title documents, and closing procedures.
- Advise clients on zoning regulations, land use planning, and municipal permitting processes.
- Represent developers and property owners in planning meetings and zoning board hearings.
- Conduct legal research and draft contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents.
- Provide strategic counsel for foreclosure actions, deficiency claims, and lien disputes.
- Resolve landlord-tenant issues, including evictions, lease negotiations, and property disputes.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex real estate litigation and transactional matters.
- Support additional practice areas such as business law, estate planning, and general litigation as needed.
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of Arizona real estate statutes, land use regulations, and property law.
- Familiarity with zoning codes, municipal planning procedures, and development regulations.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing real estate contracts, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and title documents.
- Skilled in resolving property disputes, including boundary issues, landlord-tenant conflicts, and foreclosure actions.
- Knowledge of escrow procedures, title insurance, and the closing process for residential and commercial transactions.
- Experience with real estate litigation, including quiet title actions, partition suits, and deficiency claims.
- Ability to interpret and apply case law, statutes, and administrative rules relevant to real estate matters.
- Comfortable using legal research platforms, document automation tools, and real estate transaction software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for working with clients, developers, and municipal officials.
