Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned trial attorney who thrives in the courtroom and has successfully handled cases through jury verdict. This is a leadership-track role for a litigator who can manage an existing caseload and expand a thriving practice. The successful candidate will take on immediate responsibility for case strategy, client relationships, and mentoring attorneys, with the opportunity to shape the growth of the office and firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead a caseload of complex, high-value civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Develop and execute defense strategies tailored to each case.
- Collaborate with accomplished attorneys across multiple offices to achieve client goals.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships while developing new business opportunities.
- Mentor and supervise attorneys and legal staff, fostering a culture of trial readiness and strategic thinking.

- Active license to practice law in Illinois.
- Minimum of 10 years’ litigation experience, including first-chair trial experience.
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and client management skills.
