Position: Senior Attorney
Location: Chicago, Illinois

Hirzel Law is expanding its Illinois team and seeking an experienced Senior Attorney with a strong community association and condominium law background. This is a rare opportunity to play a leadership role in one of the country’s fastest-growing HOA and condo law firms, with the full support of our established national platform.
We are looking for a proven litigator and trusted advisor who wants to take ownership of a key market, strengthen client relationships, and lead a team in Chicago.
What You’ll Do
- Represent condominium and homeowners associations in litigation, enforcement actions, governance issues, and general legal matters
- Serve as the senior leader in our Illinois practice, managing key clients and case strategy
- Lead and mentor a pod of two (one attorney and one legal assistant) as we continue to grow the Illinois office
- Partner with firm leadership, marketing, and operations to ensure best-in-class service delivery
- Contribute to the firm’s growth by leveraging your industry presence and experience (book of business not required, but welcomed)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: 401(k) with match, health insurance, unlimited vacation, paid parental leave (8 weeks paid, 4 weeks unpaid), hybrid flexibility

Requirements
Requirements
- Licensed to practice law in Illinois
- 3+ years of experience in community association, condominium, or real estate law
- Strong litigation background with a proven record of success
- Recognized involvement in the Illinois community association industry (CAI, industry events, publications, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and provide strategic guidance
