Compensation: Starting wage $60,811 - $72,926 commensurate with experience and qualifications, with opportunities for future performance based increases. Candidates with extensive litigation and subject matter experience may be considered for additional compensation and responsibilities.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Member in good standing of the Bar of the State of Hawaii are preferred. Applications from highly qualified individuals licensed to practice in another state and eligible to practice in Hawaii under Hawaii Rules of Professional Conduct rule 1.16 will be considered.
- Demonstrable commitment to social justice and experience working with abuse survivors, disabled or and/or low-income population strongly preferred.
- Organizational skills to manage a busy practice, meet deadlines, and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience and/or a demonstrated interest and willingness to engage in litigation (including legal research and writing and oral advocacy in court proceedings, mediations, and/or administrative proceedings);
- Strong personal work ethic and ability to organize time, manage diverse activities, and meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Able to work under pressure in an empathetic and professional manner.
- Must demonstrate humility in working with colleagues and clients across the spectrum of diversity, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, immigrant status, religious identity, physical and mental disabilities, and/or limited English proficiency, a must.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proof-reading skills, with ability to be detail-oriented.
- Able to work under pressure in an empathetic and professional manner.
- Basic computer skills required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office program (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams), strongly preferred.
