We created this law firm inspired by the dream that the legal guidance we provide may help the boards we serve transform the communities they serve. We are acutely aware of the significant sacrifices that anyone who volunteers to serve on an association board makes. And we know how little appreciation others have for those sacrifices you make.

Our law firm exists to help you get there. Each crisis we guide a board through deepens our understanding of the root causes from which the crisis emerged. And that understanding enhances our capacity to cut to the chase in resolving that crisis in the next association that is burdened by it.

Company History

Terry Leahy formed our firm in 1998 to resolve divisive, acrimonious community association disputes. Success resolving disputes and helping clients avoid expensive and unpredictable litigation naturally evolved into our firm’s full range of general counsel and litigation services. Peryea Silver Taylor is focused on the unique needs of community associations, including drafting, corporate governance, enforcement, contract review, insurance matters, litigation, and collections.
