Skufca Law, PLLC located in the heart of South End, Charlotte is looking for a Lead Business Transactions Attorney to join the team. This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced attorney who already brings a portable book of business, enjoys building strong client relationships, and is actively engaged in business development, networking, and community visibility.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and expand our business transactions practice
- Provide excellent client service
- Work directly with clients on their cases from start to finish
- Manage matters from intake through execution with full team support
- Manage cases independently as well as collaboratively with other attorneys
- Develop and grow client relationships through networking, referrals, and community engagement
- Present to community groups, professional organizations, and referral partners
- Collaborate with our business, construction, and litigation teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Active NC and SC license required
- A demonstrated book of business (portable clients strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of business transactions experience
- Experience representing clients in business law matters such as drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and corporate documents (operating and shareholder agreements, bylaws, stock plans, consents, resolutions, and corporate minutes)
- Experience managing business deals and drafting documents including asset purchase transactions, stock purchase transactions, commercial loan closings, and more
- Proven ability to generate new business through networking, presentations, and referral development
- Strong drafting, counseling, and client management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a team-oriented approach
- Ability to mentor rising associate attorneys while also receiving support from experienced partners
